Secondary School Project
Calling all secondary schools, as a result of working successfully on herb projects with primary schools across Scotland over the last few years, Scotherbs have developed a secondary School Herb Project Pack in line with the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence and Health Promoting Schools guidelines. We are delighted to announce that
has once again on board as a project partner with us. This year, our pack is aimed at introducing secondary school pupils to the fascinating world of culinary herbs and provides them with all the information they need to get cooking with these culinary delicacies.
The unique pack is suitable for S1 - S6 pupils studying Home Economics/ Food & Nutrition or Hospitality. From sowing the seeds to cooking with these culinary delights, the diverse nature of the topic allows a range of activities which can be selected by teachers for their suitability to age groups or to fit in with current class projects. The pack comes with a free Fresh Herb Voucher and I should emphasis there is NO COST to any schools who registers. The project is available to schools from the end of April 2011, if you are interested you should register by Friday 29th April and a limited number of packs will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. To register interest, schools should download this registration form and email it to marketing@scotherbs.co.uk or call Aisling Thornton on 01382 360642
